We are talking about our MOST ASKED questions about the gram and influencing in general. We get asked these questions daily and figured we would dive deeper into them. As always, we want to be a resource for you guys so hopefully this helps!

Advice on RATES?
The industry is constantly changing… what we got paid at 10k is so much lower than what others are getting paid now.
for starters: > 5K followers - we’d recommend starting with a few hundred dollars… there are so many factors to consider
quality of content
Engagement rate: is it standard / higher than normal?
What situations we would accept a lower rate
First time collab to build a relationship if you KNOW the brand pays others on a consistent basis
NEVER undervalue yourself! If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.
What situations you would charge higher, etc
Holidays! Q4 is the busiest quarter and brands typically want quick turnaround times (which you can charge for!)
Things to keep in mind: Exclusivity, perpetual, timeline, usage rights, whitelisting… If brands want these things, you can definitely RAISE your rate
Verbiage to brands?
Extending a contract
Being specific with your ask
Ex. I’d love to be considered for any upcoming collabs… NO! Instead say… I’d love to be considered for any opportunities you have in the month of [state the next month].
Make sure you send all your stats or a deck once the collab is finished so the brand can see the ROI - send dms, screenshots of sales, etc.
Gifted to paid
Building the relationship is SO important
If you know the brand pays, it may be ok to do the first partnership gifted
Don’t be afraid to ask, especially after you’ve shown your worth: “I would love to partner again and move into a paid collaboration.”
Then you want to tell them what you can provide etc.
Turning them down
Always be professional - never burn bridges
PR reps move around - this is why relationships are so important!

Weekends: Shoot enough content to get you through the week
Plan ahead: write things down, try outfits on, make a doc
What to pack in your bag
OPTIONS! Accessories, shoes, hats, bags, props
TIP: switch up your hair and shoes in every photo
What things to buy to make it easier
Tripod, stand for a sheet as a backdrop, aesthetic mirrors, etc
How to stay motivated?
Talking to others in the industry - build friendships / relationships with like minded creators
Know your long term personal goals & write them down
What is your motivation in general? Why are you doing this?
Meeting up / shooting with other girls - it can get lonely!
Travel to a new city if possible for inspo? (day trip etc)
Getting through low engagement periods?
Staying consistent - DON’T GIVE UP!
IG is the long game
Try new strategies
Look at your analytics
Look at your explore page
Engage with your community
You never know what could go viral
Consistency = success
Specific consistency: ex. 3x a week, mon wed fri
Continue to create stunning content that you love
Quality > Quantity
