Favorite Bikinis for the Summer
Hey guys!! So... summer is my absolute favorite season of the year & I pretty much live in my bikini 24/7 when I am not working. I wanted to share some of my favorite brands with you because I am very picky when it comes to bikinis so I will tell you why I love each brand:
This summer I was really into the Brazilian bikini bottoms (very minimal coverage, max amount of tan). I wanted very simple, minimal styles that I could mix and match. I don't like anything too funky... I love the idea of the high waisted bottom, but since I am in the sun so much, the idea of that tan was not appealing.
I want to start off and say this is MY FAVORITE bikini brand. I have been shopping with them for about 3 years now and every year I am blown away. The quality is amazing & the pieces just fit so well. Last year they did more minimal bottoms and I wish I had bought more. I also have a one piece suit that I surf in a lot. You can tell they put so much love & care into their brand and I am so excited for them to open up shop in Encinitas, CA very soon! Their island honey collection this year has some of the most beautiful prints, you'll have to check it out for yourself! And... if you are looking to save some money, their ambassadors release codes on Friday's so that's a good time to shop!
Since I am obsessed with the minimal bottoms right now, Frankies checks that box. I love how they are always coming out with a new collection & themes too. I usually buy more neutral colors from them. I have a white set and a tan set that I absolutely love and wear weekly. 3. *NEW FIND* Black Bough Bikinis
This is my latest and greatest find! This site has more colors and patterns (not my typical go-to) BUT, I love it all. I recently ordered my first suit from here and I think I wore it three times in a row. I ordered the willow top (it is a bra like design) in white & the stassy cheeky bottoms (least amount of coverage, most amount of tan) in white flint. Another thing to add is that I am really loving white right now because it just makes you look so tan and it pops in photos (no shame). Im going to order another one soon and might branch out to more of a color - I'm thinking the cotton candy pink but we will see!
