Turks & Caicos Wedding: Vendor List

Turks & Caicos Wedding: Vendor List

Hi babes,

Welcome back to the blog! This has been very delayed, but I wanted to put together a post about all the wedding vendors I used during the wedding planning process. For me, finding some vendors in Turks & Caicos was a little difficult as I didn’t know who had what reputations, so if anyone is planning a wedding in Turks and Caicos, maybe this will be helpful. This will also be my master list of all vendors on and off island.

Here is my wedding video to see how everything came together: Watch HERE

Here is the wedding week with all the activites: Watch HERE

Vendor List:

From the Island:

Venue - Triton Luxury Villa @tritonluxuryvilla

Triton was absolutely stunning and it had everything we wanted when it came to hosting a wedding at a private villa. We really wanted our wedding party to stay with us and the room layout was great. They also have the additional bungalows you can book if you want more people to stay with you.

The Villa Manager / Chef, Lori, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her and her team were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed from the general stay to the day of the wedding.

They are able to have a max of 50 guests, so if you’re looking to have a smaller destination wedding, Triton is perfect. They helped us arrange all of our transportation, food needs, activities, etc. We also loved how there are so many different areas of the Villa to use.

Ceremony - back yard facing the ocean

Cocktail Hour - on the beach

Dinner & Reception - by the front pool

DJ - Michael aka @djdayoh from Turks & Caicos

Michael aka DJ Dayoh was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for at our wedding! I sent him all the music I wanted, what I didn’t want, and he took it from there. Music is such an important aspect of your wedding and something you don’t want to have to worry about. He did such an amazing job! When a DJ can keep the crowd going (especially a smaller crowd β€” wedding was about 40 people), you know they’re good! 10/10 recommend him for any event you have! It was such a pleasure working with him and I hope to have another event in the future so I can book him. Thanks DJ dayoh for the best energy!

Flowers - @flowersbyea from Turks & Caicos

The flower company was selected by our coordinator. I believe it would be more affordable to work with them directly vs. through the coordinator as there seemed to be added fees and then have the coordinator manage all the vendors

The florals were absolutely stunning. Since we were already in a beautiful destination, we didn’t need too much, but we did do two pillars for our ceremony and then were able to move those to the reception area as well.

Coordinator - @tropicaldmc from Turks & Caicos

After some research, it didn’t seem like there are a ton of options on the island, but to bring a wedding planner from the states would have been expensive, so we went with Teresa from Tropical DMC after seeing her work on her instagram page. I had to be very proactive with sending inspo and design and then asking to see final products and seeing options, etc.

It is different from the states where it’s not as rushed or things don’t book out as far in advance, as well as having that β€œisland time” mentality. From my experience, her services felt more like a day of coordinator. We did meet with her before and she was lovely and then managed all the day of coordination. We believe she did add some fees on the contract that we had to ask about and have removed so double check your contracts! She also wanted to add some last minute lighting that would have been expensive, but we declined and it was all fine! She suggested the personalized coconuts during the cocktail hour and they were a hit!

Not from the Island:

Dress - @daniellefrankelstudio from @thedresstheorysandiego

I had the absolute best experience at The Dress Theory in San Diego and basically knew what dress I wanted from the beginning, but I still wanted to try on different options. Analy was so patient and gave such great suggestions. In the end, we secured my dream dress and I was so happy with how it turned out!

Photo - @karinasantosphoto from San Diego

For me, photography was really important as that is the main thing you take home from your wedding and can look back on with the best memories. We hired Karina to do our engagement shoot, and loved her energy so we booked her for our destination wedding as well. We did have to pay travel fees (to be expected), but it was worth knowing the photos were going to be the aesthetic and vibes that I wanted.

Note: Per recommendation from our wedding planner, we did purchase a photography permit for our wedding photographer just to be safe. We didn’t want them to get turned away at the airport and miss our wedding do to not having the correct permiting.

Video - @cabiefilms

Cabie Films was a recommendation from Karina (our photographer). They are best friends and in turn work really well together. We absolutely loved their vibes and editing style and were so happy with our video (watch above). They were such a great team to have with us!

Makeup - @heathermiinch from San Diego

Heather is one of my friends from San Diego who is also an insane makeup artist. Another really important thing for me was loving my make up on my wedding day. It makes you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. She absolutely killed it and I was so happy with how it turned out. It lasted all day and all night even through the dancing and jumping in the pool at the end!

Hair - @styled.byjordan from San Diego

Jordan is also a good friend from San Diego who is an amazing bridal hair stylist. I’ve known her for years and knew that when I got married, she would be doing my hair. I wanted my hair pulled back out of my face, because I knew if it was windy and my hair was down, I would have hated it. We did a slick bun with some messy pieces coming out of it and it stayed perfectly all day and all night.

Bridesmaid Dresses & Get Ready Outfits - @shoprevelry

Revelry has great quality bridesmaid dresses. I loved the weight of the silk. They felt very luxe and they had a ton of color options available as well. My getting ready silk dress and robe are also from this brand.

Jewelry - @erinfaderjewelry

Erin is a dear friend of mine and an amazing jewelry designer. I knew that I wanted all my jewelry to be from here. She created stunning pearl pieces for my wedding day and I will cherish them forever!

Stationary - @mintedweddings

Minted was great to work with because I was able to bring my visions to life with the custom stationary. I had saved a ton of inspo on pinterest and was able to create my dream designs with them.

Custom Newspaper - @theceremonyclub

This is a small business started by two sisters who are so sweet. They created the cutest, custom newspapers for us and we put them in our guests welcome bags and everyone loved them! It’s such a fun and unique way to add personalizations to your wedding day.

Wedding bands - Collins Family Jewelers

Collins was absolutely amazing to work with. We worked with Chelsea and she helped us pick out the perfect wedding bands
