A few tips:
set a budget for yourself
have a plan for specific items / don’t just blindly shop to spend money
don’t sign up for the credit card - I know it sounds enticing, but it isn’t great for the long run
If you do need something, now is the time to buy! Retailers know that when it gets closer to christmas, if you need something you’re going to buy it regardless of a sale.
